Harvest Wok 聚餐馆

今天因为工作关系而来到这里， 这间住家式的餐馆--聚餐馆。它是位于Pulau Tikus停车场对面，如果给于那些不熟悉这一区的朋友是蛮偏僻与不显眼的。当你走进这间餐馆时你会感觉到莫名的亲切感，餐馆内的摆设简单又舒适。墙壁上还挂满了色彩鲜艳的油画，为这间餐馆增添了不少的色彩。这里都是以中式料理为主，如果您是爱喝汤的更要来这里试试哦！这里拥有超过二十多种口味的炖汤供你选择哦！

Because of work so i came here, a very home style and mama's feel restaurant - Harvest Wok. The location is opposite Pulau Tikus market car park, for those who not familiar with this place the restaurant is quite remote and not obvious. When you stepped into this restaurant you will felt very friendly, and the interior of the restaurant is quite simple and comfortable. Inside of the restaurant also decked out with colorful painting on the walls, and add a lot of color for this restaurant. Harvest Wok is mainly in Chinese cuisine, and if you are a soup lover must come and have a try! Because here got provide more than twenty flavours of soup to let you choose!!

Forget the name already..swt..This fish very appetite, i think the sauce is soy sauce cooked with chili  so it will spicy abit . And the top of the fish is fried onion i guess o.0

This is the signature dish of Harvest Wok - Marmite Chicken.  The taste got abit sweet and the meat kinda crispy

Pork Knuckle - Nice also! The meat very tender, and the sauce is  nice to eat with rice

GOH TEO KEE (TEOCHEW & SIAM) SUNGAI ARA

Today is his father's birthday we went to Goh Teo Kee Restaurant to had our dinner celebration. Last year his father's birthday also celebrated at here, but this year their service and attitude is so bad. This kinda spoiled our mood, while ordering the food his father had a little joke with the waitress, but the waitress felt fed up and her face suddenly changed to not so friendly.(I think her position is more high than others because she is wearing the different uniform) 

After ordered we saw some hairs is around the table, and the glass i feel so dirty, you can clearly saw the stains and one of the glass is yellowish..feel so disgusting. A few minutes later our dish is served, we ordered Spare Ribs with Curry, Prawn Balls, Pig Belly Soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Oyster with Tempeh, and Steamed Spicy Fillet (or what..forget already). Here's is the problem, when the fillet is served they give us almost whole of the fish just without the fish's head. They purposely want to "chop" us or revenge?! LOL!! But is ok! After that got problem again, we noticed that the fish is uncooked. 

So this time we called the staff come, the chef came out and asked us what happened. We honestly told the chef, and his face also changed to unfriendly and like unhappy with us. He took the fish into the kitchen and cooked. They took so long times to cooked the fish, almost 15 minutes i think... when the fish served again it is not fresh and tender anymore, after we ate finish they served dessert to us "tong shui". when my "tong shui" almost finish i saw a little tiny insect in my "tong shui"!! REALLY IS OMG!! 

They really is SUCK!! Because we already took our birthday cake out and prepare to light up the candle..at this moment the waitress came and saiid:"Excuse me, can i keep the plate?" Hello, do you have any manners? Don't you saw what we do now? Ok fine we let her keep, so we wait her keep finish, she don't feel awkward at all? We all just waited for her to light up our candle. And total all of our eat today costed us RM209, they really "chop" us for the fish. Really is a WORST restaurant i had seen.

Summer Dessert Bakery

Recently i'm so in love with Summer Dessert Bakery!! Since my dad brought the moo moo cake come back <3 This is they first outlet in Penang, it it located right opposite Penang Chinese Girl High School. This is a nice location because the parents and students, teachers or whose work around this area will visit this bakery.

The bakery is highly recommended because all their breads or cakes is awesome!! (They also got sell bubble tea or tea too)For me, especially their MOO MOO CAKE and SWISS ROLL!!  I just try the Osaka cake, Original and chocolate flavour moo moo cake and the Royal Chessy Swiss Roll before. 

For my opinion i felt that the original flavour moo moo cake is not so nice compared to the chocolate flavour. Maybe the original taste is more light so i don't so like it, but for the chocolate flavour i superb love it. Inside of the chocolate cream is so creamy, moist and "cheesy"  i think they got mixed cream cheese with it so that why i will feel cheesy (and i don't know how to describe LOL) when you put it into the fridge the taste of the cream will kinda like ice-cream. (There got strawberry flavour moo moo cake too, i will try it someday!!)

For the Osaka Cake i feel the taste so so, not so tasty compared to the KL one. Maybe this one the cake is kinda hard and the cream inside quite little for me and taste like the original flavour moo moo cake (the cream).

I heard people said their signature is Royal Cheesy Swiss Roll, so i had one too!! This cheese swiss roll is so special and delicious, the surface of the cake is spread with the cheese those they used to baked bread so it will be salty abit. And for the cream when you put it in your mouth, the smell of the cheese will surrounding in your mouth and you will taste like so sweet, creamy, moist and the taste some sort like cheese cake.

Noted: I swear one day i will try all the flavour of the swiss roll!! teehee~

自上次我爸带了moo moo cake回来，我从此就迷上了这间[夏日烘焙站]。这是他们在槟城第一间的分行，所以生意会很好在加上他们的地点是位于槟华女子中学对面，家长，学生，老师或在这附近工作的都会光顾。他们所卖的面包与蛋糕都很好吃绝对让你吃了回味无穷，强力推荐！（在这他们也有卖奶茶哦）而我本身就比较喜欢他们的moo moo cake 与swiss roll 简直就是我的大爱！ 

我曾经试过他们的原味与巧克力口味的moo moo cake， 可是我比较喜欢巧克力口味因为巧克力口味会比较重，而原味则比较淡（也许我重口味吧）当你咬下巧克力口味的第一口时，你就会隐隐约约吃到一些cream cheese的味道（现在想起感觉有点像巧克力芝士蛋糕）如果将它雪藏了再吃里面的cream感觉就好像再吃冰淇淋。除了moo moo cake我也有吃过大阪城蛋糕，这个就比较不好吃相比与吉隆坡的北海道蛋糕。

我听人家说他们的招牌是皇家芝士瑞士卷，这超好吃的！！ 它外面那层蛋糕都洒满了人家拿来烘焙面包的芝士，所以当你第一口咬下去的时候芝士就会在你嘴里熔化然后咸咸的。接下来第二口咬下去你就会感受到冰冰冷冷的，好像再吃冰淇淋也好像在吃着芝士蛋糕的感觉。这绝对是强力推荐在推荐啊！

注：总有一天我会把这里所有的瑞士卷口味给试完~

China House Visit

Early in the morning ate breakfast with colleagues. We went to Gurney Tower's Starbucks to had our breakfast.

Start my day with lovely Starbucks~ <3

When finished work my colleagues asked me wanna join them ate dinner at China House, seem i never went there before so i also promised them. This is the good place to come with your friends, family, couple or else. The environment and the feeling at here is so nice and very special. China House can be category by cafe / restaurant / lounge / bar / gallery, actually it is a old house like last time when we small our grandpa grandma house. The space of the cafe is  big and long because it is two house join together and normally old house is very long one..Teehee..when you step into the cafe you can feel it is full of the vintage / art / elegant / and grandpa grandma's house feeling. But sadly inside kinda squeeze because they put so many antique furniture as decorations. I most like is their super huge mirror..don't know where can buy it..hehe..

Beside this, you will feel surprised when you walked into the end of the cafe. It still got many part , at the middle of the cafe you can sit at the open air garden with a large pond at beside. When you walked more inside you will saw some wall art, after that behind still got a live band and there is supplied alcohol i think, so you can have a gathering a here chit-chat with your friends and enjoy some live band. And upstairs you can't estimate what they do at the second floor...they have a small art gallery at there. I feel that it is quite creative to have a art gallery at your cafe, and customers can buy those masterpieces too if you feel in love with "them".

After finished looking around our dessert is served (we no ordered dinner but ordered dessert). We ordered four pieces of cakes and two beverages, i forgot what name for the cakes and the beverages. For my opinion i felt it is quite expensive because we just ordered four pieces of cakes and two beverages total is RM80++, last but not least their business is so good!! There is so crowded and full with customers, some more need to called for reserved and waited for the table.
